Ahead of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 which kicked off on July 21st, Maycroft were engaged to complete the toilet and changing rooms upgrade for SkyStadium.

In the past, the changing rooms were predominantly designed for the male sports teams. However, the upgrade has made significant improvements to better accommodate everyone. This has included upgraded from communal showers to individual cubicles, offering more privacy. Additionally, the number of toilet cubicles has increased to reduce waiting times. Not to mention, the changing rooms have been given a makeover with new paint and flooring, making them look much more appealing and comfortable.

Other venue upgrades have included a full pitch replacement, upgraded tower and bowl rim LED lighting and 40 new entry turnstiles which will allow for a much smoother and faster entry to the venue.

The Stadium will host nine matches during the tournament, including a quarterfinal match.
