A bit about us...
We have been in business for seven decades and are (a little bit) proud to share that through our values of integrity, responsibility, respect and support, we have established a reputation as a leading construction company across the central and lower North Island. We are proudly employee-owned and have a purpose to build trust through great buildings, great people, and great relationships.
a bit About the role...
  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle management of property, fleet, plant, and equipment—from planning and procurement through to maintenance, renewal, and disposal.
  • Plan, manage, and control asset-related budgets, costs, depreciation, utilisation, and ROI to support financially sustainable decisions.
  • Coordinate asset allocation, logistics, forecasting, and internal charging processes.
  • Maintain assets and properties to maximise uptime, safety, and compliance with regulatory, H&S, environmental, insurance, and building requirements.
  • Manage preventative maintenance programmes, service providers, certifications, inspections, and BWOF obligations.
  • Optimise asset management systems to improve tracking, reporting, forecasting, and governance.
  • Provide clear, structured reporting and insights to senior leaders.
  • Lead continuous improvement by embedding better processes, systems, and visibility of asset performance, risks, and opportunities.

We’re looking for an experienced Asset Manager to take ownership of Maycroft’s property portfolio, fleet, plant, and equipment across Wellington and Central regions.
