As a member of Maycroft’s quantity surveying team, Bernie manages the procurement and financial aspects of her clients’ projects. Over the course of a build, Bernie works closely with project managers, site managers, subcontractors and other stakeholders to achieve a great outcome for her clients.

Bernie has developed her estimating and surveying skills on several large projects around Wellington. Her favourite so far was working on the build of the Wellington Children’s Hospital; as a freshly qualified quantity surveyor, it gave her great exposure to construction methodologies and management in a unique and rewarding environment.

Bernie is committed to furthering her knowledge of the industry and is currently studying construction management. She is also an active member of the Wellington branch of the New Zealand Institute of Quantity Surveyors.
