The 19-storey PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Tower is a feature of Wellington’s Terrace and represents company’s public face in the capital.

In 2008, Maycroft Construction won the contract to refit the interior and provide a new facade for this landmark building.

The new street facade is open, welcoming and clearly presents PwC as a global, well-respected company. Granite stone floors add a highly polished and sophisticated element to the build, while floor-to-ceiling windows create a light-filled space. read more

For this project, Maycroft Construction demolished and renovated:

  • 26 toilet and shower areas
  • the main foyer entry
  • lift entries
  • ceilings
  • the street facade

The refit took place in a fully-occupied building, which required an excellent working relationship and close coordination with the PwC project manager. Maycroft Construction builds strong relationships through keeping lines of communication open and completing our work to a very high standard.

The end result is a functional, modern and clean workplace, showcasing the skills of all involved.
